Chess Club, VEX Robotics/REV Robotics/Lego Robotics and Bible Club for Kids/Teens:

We will be offering a Summer program for the public. Registration will open up during our free exhibition event listed down below on April 7th. For pre-registration, please send us a message down below.
Chess, Robotics and Bible Club Free Exhibition for families of students grades K to 8th, coming Monday April 7th. During this exhibition, we will introduce our new VEX Robotics & REV Robotics program for students in grades K to 8th. Hands on workshops will be available for Chess Club, and our three types of Robotics program. For Bible Club students grades K to 8th, we will be having a Bible Club worksheets/timeline display of the Old and New testament. For Bible scholars of all ages, we will also be displaying a copy of the original " Great Isaiah Scroll ", found in the caves of the Dead Sea in Israel. The "Great Isaiah Scroll" is the oldest complete biblical text in existence, written in block/square Hebrew between 100 to 300 BC. Along with this, we will also have a complete word for word translation of Isaiah 52:13 - 54:4 (the Messianic prophecy chapter 53) and a copy of the Psalm scroll written in block/square Hebrew with the name of God written in Paleo Hebrew. Join us Monday April 7th, for an exciting event for all ages.

Program Description:
Downey Chess Club, LLC mission: Helping students become the future leaders of tomorrow. We do this by providing after school enrichment programs for all students (grades K to 8th) that combine strategy, tactics, STEM Education and the Word of God, in order to prepare them for the future and allow them to reach their full potential.
Chess Club for Kids : Chess teaches our students to become Leaders, that govern their destiny through decision making and strategic planning, learning while having Fun. Chess is also a gateway to STEM education. Chess teaches critical & abstract thinking, problem solving, planning and analysis. It improves the ability to concentrate and teaches the value of good sportsmanship. Mastering strategic thinking through the Martial Arts of the Mind.
LEGO Robotics & REV Robotics Club for Kids and Teens : Our Robotics building & coding program (VEX Robotics, REV Robotics, Lego Robotics ) helps students learn the fundamentals of STEM education and 21 century skills needed to become the digital future leaders of tomorrow. This robotics club also helps our students prepare for middle school and high school REV and VEX robotics building & coding program (Scratch, Java & Python). This club is a testament to the fact that learning can be fun, engaging and highly productive. It's about that first joyful moment when a child sees their robot creation move for the first time, the development of new skills, the formation of friendships and the celebration of teamwork.
Bible Club for Kids and Teenagers : Our Bible Club is not affiliated with any church. This is a non-denominational Bible Club designed to help students understand the history of how the Bible came to be written. As an example of the ancient written history of the Bible, we use a copy of the original Great Isaiah Scroll found in the Qumran caves of the Dead Sea in Israel. Our program encourages young students to read and study the Bible. Learn from the greatest book ever written. From creation to Salvation. Chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Study the Holy Bible from the time of Adam to Jesus Christ. In this program, we also look into the significance of the book of Isaiah and the Great Isaiah Scroll, found in the Qumran caves of the Dead Sea. Find your answers in the greatest book ever written.
