DOWNEY CHESS CLUB

Mr. Jose Jimenez has been playing Chess for 25 years and is a US Chess Federation Affiliate. He is a current Chess Contract Instructor working for private After School Chess programs in Los Angeles County. Mr. Jimenez has passed strict security background checks mandated by the U.S Department of Education, to be able to teach children grades K to 8th in California education centers. Mr. Jimenez creates a dynamic classroom environment to engage students in learning the analytical problem solving game of Chess. His classes are designed for children in grades K-8th, After School Enrichment programs, STEM programs and California GATE programs.
